Sixty and Soaring

My daughter gave me the dickens the other day.  She complained I had not been blogging.  Indignantly I replied that I most certainly had been blogging. She asked if I had posted it.  Of course I posted it …or did I?

It seems there are two ways to write…one is a post and one is a page.  I do not really know what the difference is.  I will have to ask someone is knowledgeable in this area.  Why have two different things?  Why even blog for that matter? Are there guidebooks for bloggers?  Maybe someone has published “Blogging for Dummies”?  I really need a copy of that book but what with the economy tanking ever more rapidly I won’t be able to afford it.  Or perhaps just a lexicon of blogging terms.  What is the difference between a tag and a category.  If I had a blogging lexicon I would know.

Is there a website that explains all of this?  Probably not.  Most of the people who are into this were born knowing how to do it. My friends’ kids can work the computer, dvd players etc much better than I can.  And now they have a blue ray.  Now what is that I ask?  A new type of fish?  Maybe I will pick one up, fry it in cornmeal and have it for supper tomorrow.
